Welcome to Bellacopia
On the whimsical island kingdom of Bellacopia, where creativity and the arts are sacred, a young orphan chef named Baba Linguini discovers he may be the child of prophecy destined to finish what the Celestial Chef began — the mythical Sauce of Immortality.
Found as an infant during the fabled Linguini Meteor Shower and raised by the jovial Papo Gostoso in Aunt Chovi's orphanage-kitchen, Baba learns that every ingredient must be balanced with love.
When a new meteor shower reawakens ancient forces, he is chosen by the legendary Leonardo di Vino and joins his daring daughter Zinfandella on a quest to recover four supernatural ingredients — each embodying a human virtue: courage, intuition, love, and endurance.
But trouble brews in Bellacopia. The flamboyant Prince Machabelli and the ruthless Duke Vincenzio, a war-obsessed patron of Leonardo’s inventions, conspire to steal the Sauce for their own gain. Their greed threatens to corrupt the very essence of creation as Baba’s quest nears its boiling point
As jealous rivals close in, Baba’s faith is tested and his dream of completing the Sauce hangs in the balance. Betrayal and greed ignite a battle of wits and flavor that pushes Bellacopia to the brink. In a spectacular culinary showdown of music and invention, Baba must choose between ambition and love — between finishing the recipe or saving the people who gave his life meaning.

Creator's Vision
As a lifelong songwriter and producer, I've always been fascinated by the way music of different cultures has cross-pollinated to make new forms and flavors. My screenplay is driven by colorful and diverse characters in a creative environment from which a new Sauce can heal the world.
My goal was to blend music, mythology, and humor into a cinematic experience audiences could both hear and feel.
Legendary Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal has allowed me to use his name, likeness and music to contribute to this story.
