Once the most celebrated culinary mind in Christendom, Papo Gostoso served the Pope himself before being chosen by Leonardo Divino to craft the Sauce of Immortality. But when he failed, the shame drove him into exile. He retreated to raise Baba in a quiet orphanage kitchen in Bellacopia, trading divine ambition for humble service. 

His ascension into the Big Dipper constellation in the story’s epilogue is both mythic and deeply emotional. It represents transformation – the passing of wisdom from one generation to the next by way of the  "Celestial Spoon". His miraculous return as a younger, healed version of himself reveals the true restorative power of the Sauce.
