PAULO & ADRIENNE
San Diego songwriter and recording artist, Paul Montesano combines 20 years of musical experience in his own unique style. Brazilian pop, American soul, jazz, and reggae are his roots. From his earliest years of blues guitar and bossa nova, to his current work in the recording studio, Paul has developed his vocal talents to rival his guitar playing. A prolific songwriter now working on TV soundtracks and personal compilations, Paul continues in a direction that includes interpretations of American popular songs and his original approach to Pop and World Music.
The rhythmic and soulful music of Paul Montesano and Adrienne Nims creates the perfect atmosphere for wedding receptions, dinner parties and any special occasion or event. Their interpretations of timeless songs cover the best of Sinatra, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Van Morrison, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others. Together, they bring a versatile sound that includes Paul's smooth vocal style, rhythmic guitar playing, along with Adrienne's vast array of saxophones and flutes. Add to that a pulsating backdrop of drums and percussion, and you have a duo that ranges from intimate Bossa Nova to danceable American Classics. Romance and Rhythm is their specialty, and both Paul and Adrienne are accomplished entertainers. Paul recently received an Emmy award for his compositions and recordings heard on the TV show WONDERLAND, aired on PBS affiliates throughout the Southwest. Adrienne is an experienced and multi-faceted performer who dances professionally as well, and always brings her graceful enthusiasm to the stage.

Had a private event at my home for some of my dearest friends... I can't begin to tell you all of the wonderful comments I received about the performers.. Let's just say that everyone is picking dates so I can repeat the event.. I cant wait to watch them again. Outstanding job!!! Top notch!!

We booked Paulo and Adrienne to play at our wedding reception and couldn't be happier with their performance. Paulo and I spoke several times before the event to discuss his music style and ours. The arrived at the event early, dressed professionally and were so personable and wonderful. Beautifully orchestrated and lively enough to dance to, but soft enough to speak normally during the performances. Everyone had a spectacular time and loved the music. I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to book another duo for their special day. We are thrilled that Paulo and Adrienne filled our memory book with beautiful music. What a way to start off married life!
